Same hole, fairer target
True Par uses your Handicap Index or playing handicap and the hole's stroke index to move the target — so a good score means something, whatever your handicap.
On a par 4 where you receive a shot, your True Par is 5. A 5 is level — not a bogey. Score 5 and you bag a confidence-building 2 Stableford points against a target built for your game, not a scratch golfer's.
True Par shows gross score, score versus course par, score versus True Par and Stableford together, so you always know how you played — honestly.

Your round, your evidence, your rules
Guest or account, your choice
Use True Par as a guest for quick local scoring, or create an account for sync. Sync queues and private device caches are isolated between accounts.
Location only while you use GPS
True Par uses your location for front, middle and back distances and hole maps while GPS features are active. It does not use background location.
Paper scorecards aren't kept
If you photograph a paper scorecard, the image is used once to extract course and round details, then reviewed by you before anything is saved.
Coaching media is private
Private coaching photos, videos and voice notes use protected storage with access-checked, short-lived links. You choose what each coach can see.
Delete your account any time
Delete an authenticated account inside Settings, or follow the steps at our delete-account page. You stay in control.
AI is optional — and honest
AI features are optional and their outputs may be incomplete or mistaken. They're decision support, not guaranteed professional instruction.
